Up is the cartoon just relesed by pixar. As i was sitting there watching that show i was amazed that the content was so heavy for me and my wife but my kids did not tune into the heavyness. So hear is my question. If we could relearn to watch look and listen to things just on face value could we then learn how to filter out all the bullshit that makes society at large so heavy?
Life is as heavy as we make it. I was sitting there watching that movie and putting my story into the story. The kids get together and then get married, try to have a baby and lose the baby. They grow old and the ol lady kickes the bucket. I was sitting on the couch putting my relasionship into the story and thinking about the mortality of life in general and was wimpering like a little girl. As i look over and expect my girls to be in utter dismay and needing tissue themself, then me coming to the rescue giving them all a big bear hug telling them that everthing will be just fine. Turning into the hero.
Not they were not even bothered in the slightest bit making me feel even mor like a little girl needing them to hug me, and tel me everything will be ok.
Its is the story that we put into the context of what every we are looking at or thinking about. How can we quiet that inside voice that creates all that drama inside our little heads. A shotgun comes to mind but if you do not do the job correctly then what a shitty story.
We should all remember Fonzy, So very cool calm and collected. I am trying to be like Fonzy cool and groovy without trying to be cool and groovy. Plus I will never wear a leather jacket.
